Meth worth 54 crores seized in Champhai

 

Aizawl: As drug traders become more astute and sophisticated in their operations, law enforcers also enhance their capabilities and expertise to counter these illegal activities. This ongoing cat-and-mouse game pushes both sides to continually refine their strategies and adapt to the changing landscape of drug trade.
 
In yet another success in a crusade against smuggling activities, 94, 940 metamphetamine  tablets worth Rs 28.482 crore from Mualkawi village Champhai district and another 87,720 tablets worth Rs 26.316 crore from general Khuangleng, Champhai district on Wednesday (July 26) in two separate operations.
The operation was carried out by a combined team of company operation bases (COB) Champhai, Serchhip Battalion Assam Rifles and Excise and Narcotics Department Champhai based on specific information.
